SLC Parent Child Play Groups are designed to
create age-appropriate skill development
through play, interaction, communication,
sensory stimulation, and family. Activities,
books, games, and the classroom are set up so
that parents will learn how to support and use
objects and toys in their own homes to assist
language and learning with their child.
The class consists of group activity,
singing/music, theme-based activities, learning
centers, structured snack time, sensory
exploration, arts and crafts and so much more.
These activities will be set up at different
stations in the room to allow a therapist to
spend time individually with you and your child
so you can work together on your family’s
goals.
The Parent Child Play group lasts a minimum
of an hour, but please plan on being there up to
1 ˝ hours as the length of group will vary
according to the pace of the group, number of
children and the activities planned.
Offered Fridays 10:00am
