Childbirth Education

The Care Connection offers a one-time, full-day, comprehensive childbirth education class. The class will include:
- Pregnancy: What to Expect in the Third Trimester
- The Labor Process including Labor Rehearsal and Late Pregnancy Exercises
- Comfort Measures and Labor Positions (please bring a blanket or mat and pillow)
- Interventions, Pain Medication, and Cesarean Birth
- Newborns, Postpartum, and Breastfeeding Basics
- Creating your own Birth Plan
Exclusive Multimedia Course Materials!
The only class of its kind in WNY, Care Connection offers expectant couples six months unlimited access to our web based program, featuring video clips and supporting visuals to reinforce the classroom learning experience in the comfort of your own home.
Take home materials include a 64 page 8x11 full color booklet, worksheets, and community resources.
Cost: $85 per Couple
This class is currently covered 100% by Blue Cross Blue Shield and Community Blue of Western New York (Alive & Lively). Independent Health will rebate $10.00 to member upon completion of course.
45 minute lunch break with light refreshments provided.

Class Registration & Cancellation Policy

All classes must be paid in full at the time of registration. Refunds will be given only with 48 hours prior cancellation notification. If less than 48 hours notice is given, we will gladly schedule you into the next available class in lieu of a refund. Second time cancellation will forfeit your fee and attendance in class. Class participant is fully responsible for the accurate and complete submission of all insurance information prior to class date. Class participant will be responsible for class charge should your insurance deny reimbursement. Class charges will be automatically charged to your credit card on record. The Care Connection reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet minimum attendance requirements or due to instructor unavailability.
